Eternity assurance
February 25, 2010I don’t have it in me to make a super long post about this…..We know it was coming…. One of my uncle (brother of my mother) passed away yesterday due to cancer. He wasn’t perfect, but the man knew how to have a good time and have a good heart.
It made me think the small conversation I had with my companion one night on our way home from the spaceship on “how do you want to be remembered?”…..Of course, we don’t want to be remembered as someone who is “maangas”, that’s really awful (…but still being remembered!!!). We would like to be remembered as someone who is great and kind. The rest is really not that important in the grand scheme of things. So, evidently, we would be the awesomest person alive.
We still have to work on that and have some fun and adventure along the way. In the meantime, we would just going to try to live in the now and have fun, live, love, and play.
