The Heat is On
April 24, 2010The sizzling summer heat is on…it is unforgivenly hot outside and inside our home. The temperature readings soar up to their highest in the last decades. I heard the temperature reached as high as 42 degrees in Tuguegarao last week. Whew….that’s super hot. It is reportedly a kind of heat that could melt an unlit candle.
Some may thought lucky enough to have a night work…enjoying the airconditioned office at night but will not be considered lucky during the day as they cannot enjoy the comfort of their bed to have a proper rest due to hot temperature. But then, there are good things that can be done to advantage in this very hot summer. We can spare a few hours of extra curricular activities after shift where we can sweat the stress out of our body. Like going to a gym…we will have an excuse to expose more skin and be in our most comfortable suit and at a more comfortable environment. We can move naturally and sometimes we have movements that we never know we can do. The more we move the more we release the tension from our body. We can shout…we can be loud and actually watch ourselves in action. There are no rules, no room for words.
After sweating it out, rubdown will always be a bonus. It can actually give more than a momentary tingle or a second of solace. We would notice that when skin touches skin, it feels like fire. Then, we can enjoy the luxury of warm shower to freshen us up. And there is no reason to have our good sleep afterwards though the heat of summer is still boiling.
Sweet and Painful
April 13, 2010This entry is for my friend, whom I will be lending the book I am presently reading. My friend, I am not yet through with the story, but just to give you a hint which part I am now, read this…..
“They are now in the center of a empty darkened solarium. His hands touching her hips and stomach stilled. He said “I’ll make it good for you”. His hands slipped up the slopes of her breasts and he cupped her through the white lace balconnet bra. He fed her hot kisses and she raised one hand behind his head and held his mouth to hers and the heat of their kisses spread across their bodies. There was no mistaking the desire burning in their eyes. His fingers brushed across her stomach and slipped beneath the white underwear. She felt hot and itching. His fingers trailed across his pelvis to her behind. She kissed him like he was her last meal and her skin felt hot and tight. She pressed her palm to his erection and felt the heat of him then squeezed. Lust, hot and liquid, rushed through her veins, burning away everything but the need for him. He pushed the thong down her legs then he reached for her and ran his hands down her bottom to the backs of her thighs. He lifted her legs and ran her tongue at the inside of her thighs. She almost scream as the liquid fire poured through her body and burned her up from the inside out. He kissed her again and remove her bra and sucked alternately the two peaks. He then lowered himself to her, she automatically wrapped her legs around him. She sucked in her breath and held it, when she felt the stretching of her tight flesh. She felt pain and its not yet over….but don’t have any idea ever being this good. Beautiful and intense and painfully sweet….”
Dude, I still have 6 chapters left and I hope to finish it before weekend….
Commemorating & Celebrating
April 9, 2010
This week is rather odd for my family. My first cousin who has been sick for less than a year passed away after we celebrated the Easter Sunday last week, the same day that my family was commemorating the 40 days of my Uncle’s death. My cousin was a man of few words and have a very small family….leaving a wife, a very young daughter and 2 single siblings. Tomorrow, we will be saying a final goodbye to him.
Losing a family is inevitable for most of us, as that is the way that the system was designed. However, we never like to give up those we love, especially if it is earlier in life. It gets easier, but it never goes away. they will always be there in thought and deed for us.
Today April 9 we also commemorating the death anniversary of my grandmother on my father side at the same time celebrating the birthday of my sister with the same name as my grandmother. Ironic, isn’t it? She died on the date of my sister’s birthday.
Sometimes, when faced with life’s choices, we can’t stick to our guns eventhough nobody tells us what we can’t do or have. BUt sometimes when we are in the driver’s seat, we are not going to apologize for our choices.
To my cousin, uncle and my grandmother, may your souls be in heaven and in the arms of the Lord.
And to my Sis, Happy Happy Birthday, may you be blessed with healthier, longer and interesting life. We are sisters by chance, friends by choice.
Still on Vacation Mode
April 4, 2010The Holy Week vacation is almost over, I had a a great time with my siblings, had a blast of road trip and pampering myself. I had a lot of fun and I am sure I’ve gained pounds. Thought it was just fun, fun, fun… but this morning we were informed that my cousin was rushed back to hospital and we just visited him this afternoon, hope he gets better soon.
I will be back to the grind tomorrow. And I’m not ready for it! Anyways, there’s nothing I can do about it except to plan and look forward for my next vacation. I’ll miss the restful days, doing and worrying about nothing but looking on the brighter side, I will meet my friends and I’ll be able to meet new challenges again once I get back to work…wonderful!!!
Road Trip to Tagaytay
April 2, 2010 It is Holy Week, malls are closed, no other fun activities in Manila. I asked a female friend, who was also looking for something to do this Holy Week, to accompany me in Tagaytay to bring an important document to a friend there. We presumed there was no traffic but we were wrong…seems all were heading in our direction. It took us almost 3 hours to reach our destination. On our way, we didnt have a plan…just give the document to the person and then go back home. But with the help of the traffic, we suddenly had our little eterinary. After we delivered the purpose, we went to Bag of Beans, we enjoyed their Blueberry Cheesecake and Black Forest Frappe and sat there for awhile to feel the ambience. After that, we then dropped by at Mushroom Burger and tried their King Mushroom Burger (I was still full that time so I decided to take it home). We then proceeded to Robinsons Supermarket to buy Buko Pie and little souvenirs and took some pictures. Then, we ended at Lourdes Church where we attended the mass. When we boarded the bus going back to Manila, we were surprised it was still traffic. Then, we noticed that we were approaching the Pink Sister…we contemplated for awhile if we are going to dropped by or not. And we both decided not to…it was rather late.
And it was rather tiring but spontaneity makes it fun…
My Bohol Trip
April 1, 2010 March 21, 2010, 5:00am, we rode a taxi going to Pier 1 for Oceanjet Ferry going to Tagbilaran. THe ferry will be leaving 6:00am, we were on board 30 minutes earlier and all troley had to be checked in. We met my friends on board. After roughly 2 hours, we were at Tagbilaran Pier. We spotted someone holding a sign that says “Joys and Company”, and my friend said that she think it was our service. We’ve never been to Bohol so we were all pretty excited. The tour will start after lunch so we first went to Island Citimall to had our breakfast and shop for souvenirs and delicacies. It was lunch time when we checked in at Sea Coral Resort and prepare for our tour. We had our lunch at Chicken Ati-Atihan then proceeded with the trip, first with Dauis Church, Bingag Ostrich, Bee Farm, and ended the day tour at Hinagdanan Cave, it has two natural holes that light the steps down to its underground swimming pool. We had dinner at the resort with the whole group.
The next day, we visited the Man Made Forest, Tarsier-world’s smallest primate, hanging Bridge, visited the Biggest python in captive, Baclayon Church, which is said to be the oldest stone church in the Philippines, Butterfly Farm, and the famous Chocolate Hills. We had a sumptuous lunch served in the floating restaurant while cruising the scenic jade-green Loboc river with a singing band on board, it is a an eat all you can, what more can you asked for? The last leg of the Loboc river cruise was a stop at the soulful serenade and dance show by the Loboc river choir. We even visited other resort, the Bohol Beach Club but decided to take a dip in our resort, though it is not the best of the beaches. But still the sunset relaxes our body and mind.
The last day would be island hopping. We witnessed the Bohol sunrise while going to Dolphin watching, we luckily spotted a younger dolphin and another big dolphin. We then went to Balicasag ISland to have our breakfast before we rode a boat to snorkel. We had much fun snorkeling and stayed on the water for more than 2 hours before going back to the island to have our lunch. We then proceeded to Virgin Island to take a swim only to find out it was just waist deep and we contented on walking around the island for a time before staying on the waist deep water and some picture taking. We then went back to our resort and pack our things for our departure at 7:00am the following day.
It was a wonderful summer vacation…sunburns and leg wounds due to corals make it also memorable for me. Im looking forward for another trip like this.
My Cebu Trip
March 20, 2010, 08:00am Cebupacific bound to Cebu. We lined up at the check in counter, we were a little bored and wondering what the crew took long to assist everybody in the line. I have 3 boys with me and it was their first time to fly and they were excited and not minding the long line…continuously taking pictures of us. At the other line, we noticed Lyn Ching with her crew also lined up and apparently will be boarding the same flight as ours. At last, we were through checking in our baggages and directly board the plane. After more than an hour, we landed in Mactan Airport in Cebu and directly went to our hostel, Sugbutel, to freshen up and get ready for some city tour. We first visited the Sto Nino Church then proceed to Magellan’s Cross. We had lunch at the resto beside the Crown Regency, where we watched the 4D The Lost Island. We then proceed to Shamrock where we bought some Cebu delicacies. We even went to their wet market (is it Camdon market?…it was like a Divisoria market) trying to find good danggit, only to realized later that it was already available in Sm Cebu. We then went back to our hostel and had some rest. About 5pm, we went to SM Cebu, it is just a walking distance from where we stay. We had our dinner and bought personal things and additional pasalubong. We ended the day at videoke singing about 20-25 songs.
We went back to our hostel, updated our FB and had a good night sleep.
