Road Trip to Tagaytay
April 2, 2010 It is Holy Week, malls are closed, no other fun activities in Manila. I asked a female friend, who was also looking for something to do this Holy Week, to accompany me in Tagaytay to bring an important document to a friend there. We presumed there was no traffic but we were wrong…seems all were heading in our direction. It took us almost 3 hours to reach our destination. On our way, we didnt have a plan…just give the document to the person and then go back home. But with the help of the traffic, we suddenly had our little eterinary. After we delivered the purpose, we went to Bag of Beans, we enjoyed their Blueberry Cheesecake and Black Forest Frappe and sat there for awhile to feel the ambience. After that, we then dropped by at Mushroom Burger and tried their King Mushroom Burger (I was still full that time so I decided to take it home). We then proceeded to Robinsons Supermarket to buy Buko Pie and little souvenirs and took some pictures. Then, we ended at Lourdes Church where we attended the mass. When we boarded the bus going back to Manila, we were surprised it was still traffic. Then, we noticed that we were approaching the Pink Sister…we contemplated for awhile if we are going to dropped by or not. And we both decided not to…it was rather late.
And it was rather tiring but spontaneity makes it fun…
