Kung Hei Fat Choi
February 2, 2011A few hours from now, it would be another year for our Chinese friends, just much our New Years Eve every December 31. But in Chinese calendar, tomorrow will be the official start of the year of the metal rabbit. Kung Hei Fat Choi means “May You Be Prosperous”. I honestly don’t know yet what that means for me but I hope and pray it would be something good.
Things have been hectic for me last month, not to mention that I was again full of activities, official and personal….company bowling tournament one weekend which my team had fun with though very tired with the all day activity and still looking forward to the next tournament in November (at least we ended up at rank 25 out of 42 teams…not bad for the first timers), post birthday celebration of a close friend the next weekend which we used to celebrate among other ocassions just the two of us and now we have another friend to join us in our monthly bonding.
There’s still a lot lined up for me to do and I am having some major thinking about a trip somewhere (which I usually do between August and September). I am also thinking of something that will sweep away the bad luck and the hardships of the previous year. So, you can assume my muscles and mind are really tired at the moment.
And oh! I just remembered we have an event tomorrow and I have to attend a reunion this coming weekend. Whew.. I’m in a bit of a panic now I forgot about that (just kidding….ako pa ha ha ha ).
Anyway, I wish everyone a great 2011. Good Health, Good Fortune and Harmonious Relationships for the whole year. Have a prosperous year of the rabbit.
And I hope all of you had a cool and relaxing weekend ahead.
