The other night, I had to stand at the middle of around 20 people to have my first prepared speech. We were asked to prepare speeches about ourselves and initially I was beginning to prepare one for myself starting also from my childhood. But after one paragraph, I realized I don’t have anything sad or bad to inject on my speech that will catch interest to my listeners, maybe I tend to forget those things and just counted on my blessings. So I started to compose about the blessings that I received and good times that happened. After 3 pages, I stopped. We were given only 4-6 minutes and if I was going put all those times, it will take me forever.
I decided to settle on one of my learnings, which some of the information I exaggerated, some has just a touch of truth, some no truth at all and several were very authentically true.
I’ll share to you my speech Guys, its for you to guess, what are the truth and what are the lies. Here it goes….
Ladies and Gentlemen A Pleasant Good Evening
Tonight, I want to share to you one of my interest, which I think you would also find interesting. Do you believe in destiny? Well, I do, I do believe in destiny but I also believe that we create our own destiny.
Let me tell you a story….. several years ago, I had a minor surgery, I had a tendoin cyst removed from my left wrist. After the surgery, I just stayed at home waiting for my wounds to heal. While at home, I kept looking at my hands and I realized then that I have many lines on my palm. I got interested on what it signifies. Learning my interest, a cousin gave me a book about palmistry. From then on, I tried to interpret every single lines on my palms and my siblings’.
One time, a friend requested me to read her palms saying she has a lot of doubts on the basic issues like ‘who she is and what is the link between her and this Universe’ She said, she was searching for the answers for years in the quest for truth, whatever it was. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning to read other palms aside from my siblings of course, but I tried my very best to interpret every lines on hers. After a month, she came back to me and said that she was really surprised that I was able to read her palms accurately. She was very happy with the turned of events and thanked me with my grace to enlightened her and prepared her for what was coming
January last year, I made another reading with one of my colleague, who is No BF Since Birth like our Helen here, and I told her she will have a partner by September. And she really worked hard for it to make it true. She got a BF in September and they broke up in October.
Generally, whenever I make my readings they would ask about petty things like when they were going to become rich or when they were going to get a partner. Such mundane things are not important. What is important is to know about your self and your mission in this earth.
But, I am thrilled whenever I heard that my readings are correct and were coming true in their lives. Sometimes, I also felt that I was intruding in their lives. It is giving me deep insights and understanding in the life of others, that in some way, I maybe touching their lives. Do I hear testimonials from this side?
Some would be doubting my interpretations but its for you to believe. I’ve learned how to get random readings of the future, and even the past and strong senses of the feelings and thoughts of others. There is nothing necessarily unique to learn these, it is not an acquired talent either, everybody can learn about it…but there must often be a strong trend for coincidence. Based on the feedback I’ve got, I have 95% hit rate. Not bad! I might consider a change of career. I can actually make a living out of it. You will be surprised, there are many who really wants to know what the future holds for us.
Few years ago, majority of those who wants to know their future were girls and I thought probably boys were more in control. But recently, I noticed that boys are also inclined to know their future and I think they already lost control.
Is this for real? It’s for me to know and for you to find out!!!

I know you are all waiting for me to share some very personal information like the other speeches, I wont dissapoint you. If some of you here are wondering on what category I belong, I am very much single…by choice. I am enjoying my single-blessedness and my adventurous and exciting life. I have a significant others whom I’ve met years ago and who is dragging me everywhere and anywhere except the altar. Im not a very complicated person so whatever we have, its giving me joy. I dont know about him though (laugh). We leave it at that…for now. That’s my destiny and I saw it on my hands.

The audience were very responsive on what I was saying and it was kind of entertaining after the three melodramatic and heartbreaking speeches prior to me. They talked about their lives from childhood to adult,hood from rags to riches, from sadness to gladness and from bad times to good times..
I earned so many Ha Has and just a few Ahms and the guests commented that it was a performance for the night considering that I didn’t talk the very safe subject and instead took the risk and shifted on a more complex subject.
