Too wrapped up!

Few days before Christmas and I lack the energy of wandering from one shopping centre to the next, to try to find the perfect present for everyone on my list. But I have to…this afternoon, I spent 3 hours on the mall. My brother accompanied me to carry anything I would be buying. My bro really hates the crowd of shoppers!! But there is a catch on accompanying me, he gets to choose the gift he wants for his birthday this coming Dec 17 and guess what???…he asked for a rubber shoes. Anyway, advance Happy Birthday Buddy! For me, I ended up buying few toys for my pamangkins and gifts for my inaanaks. I even asked for the wishlist of others to save me the time and requested a friend to make me some personalized gifts. Everytime I go shopping, I would be disappointed if I go home without buying something for myself even just a pair of undies. I hope I would manage to keep everyone happy.
I might give an impression of a very energetic person sometimes, but in reality, I struggle with this stuff a lot. Maybe not as much as I used to, or not in the same way, but I do. I get sick too. Never been get sick for quite somethime. Just last week I got sick and not yet fully recovered, I still feel crappy, could not eat and sleep well yet. Sudden movement makes my head ache. I am still “low bat”. I even declined the invitations for group xmas party last night and another one tonight. I heard that bosses were asking why I was not there last night. Apparently, I was the only one not present on the group of awardees in the office. I saw their pix at FB and they really enjoyed the party, hopping from one bar to another and eventually spent the remaining of the night at the office. My folks will be coming soon and I don’t want this sickness still lingering on me when they arrived.
At least, eventhough my body temperature was 39 degrees I still manage to accomplished part of my shopping list. I can still do many things but then I just dont want to abused the strength that I still have. Phew, I hope Santa is for real.
I also hate going out to the mall so as an inference to that I prefer shopping online, on ebay to be specific. Well, you just have to be careful enough to get rid of some suck up sellers you have to depend on their feedback sometimes.
